present here in Court in their proper persons Do Acknowledge themselves
indebted unto the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland
in the Sume of five pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain
Each to be Levey'd of their Goods and Chattels Lands and Tenem.ts
for the use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally
that if the afd Elizabeth Jones Shall not make her personal appearance
before our s.d Justices at the Court house in the Town of Chester at any time
Dureing this Court Sitting to Answer to an Indictment for fornication
and if that in the mean Time She y.e Same Eliz.a Shall not be of good

Day of s.d Month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty five
the Day of Return of s.d writt Endorst as foll.s viz.t

    Kent County fs.t The Jurors for the Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry
that now is for the body of Kent County afd upon their oath Do present
that Elizabeth Jones late of Shrewsbury parish in the County afd Spinster
the first Day of May Anno Dom. One thousand Seven hundred
twenty and five at the parish afd in the County afd within the
Jurisdiction of this Court Did Commit fornication with a Certain person
to the Jurors afd unknown and Did permit the Same unknown
person then and there to have Carnal knowledge of her body and to
beget then and there a bastard Child on the body of her the Same
Elizabeth Jones to the high Displeasure of almighty God to y.e Evill
Example of all others in Such Case offending Contrary to the peace
