    Ordered that the Sherf of Kent County keep the afd Daniel in Safe Custody
untill he Shall Satisfie the the fine afd and the Sume of one hundred &
one pounds of Tob.o Costs Accrueing on y.e premisses as to y.e officers of this
Court

    Ordered that the Sherf of Kent County keep Negroe Tony belonging to
Daniel Pearkins in Safe Custody untill to Morrow Morning to Answer unto
Such things as Shall be objected against him on his Lordships behalf

Pearkins Enter into Recognizance with Good Security
for his appearance at next Court to answer
unto an Indictment found against him for Killing a Mare and good
Behaviour Thereupon Daniel Pearkins of Kent County planter psent
here in Court in his proper person doth Acknowledge himself Indebted
unto the Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the
Sume of twenty pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain to be made and
Leveyed of his Goods and Chattels Lands and Tenements for the use of
the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if y.e Same
Daniel Shall not make his personal appearance before the Justices of
the next Court to be held for the County afd at the Court house in the Town
of Chester in the Same County on the third Teusday of March next ensueing
to Answer unto an Indictment found against him for Killing a
Mare and if that in the mean time he Shall not be of good behaviour
wherewith the s.d Daniel Pearkins Doth Acknowledge himself to
be Content                                            also

    Robert Mecks and Richard Davis both of Kent County planters
present here in Court in their proper persons do acknowledge themselves
Indebted unto the Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland
in the Sume of ten pounds Sterl money of Great Brittain to be made and
Leveyed of their Several Goods and Chattels Lands and Tenements for the
use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if
the afd Daniel Pearkins Shall not make his personal appearance
before the Justices of the next Court to be held for the County afd at the
Court house in the town of Chester in the Same County on the third
Teusday of March next ensueing to Answer unto an Indictm.t found
against him for Killing a Mare and if that in the mean time he y.e
same Daniel Shall not be of Good Behaviour wherewith the Same Robert
