Kent County fs.t The Jurors for the Right Honourable
the Lord prop.ry that now is for the body of Kent County
afd upon their Oath Do present that Andrew Macguyer
late of S.t pauls parish in the County afd Labourer the
first Day of July Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred twenty & five with force
and Arms at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this
Court two hoggs of the value of two hundred pounds of Tobacco Each of the
Goods and Chattels of a Certain Jeremiah Covinton then and there being found
then and there feloniously Did Steal take and bear away Contrary to the peace
of the s.d Lord prop.ry that now is his Good Rule and Government and against the
form of the Act of Assembly in Such Case made and provided &c.a

                                A true bill by W.m Crowe foreman

    And the afd Andrew Macguyer in his proper person Cometh and Saith that
he is in no Sort guilty of the premisses above upon him imposed and by the afd
Indictment it is alleadged and thereof he putteth himself upon y.e Country
                                                            And.w Macguyer in proper person
And he who followeth for the Lord prop.ry in like man.r Saith he is guilty
                                                                            T francis p Lord prop.ry

    And the afd Andrew afterwards to wit the Same Day and year afd Comes into
Court and Relinqu^i^shes his plea afd and Saith that he Can not gainsay the
Indictment afd so as afd against him brought nor but that he is guilty of y.e pmisses
above upon him imposed as by the afd Indictment it is alledged and thereupon
Submits to the Court Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at the
Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County this Sixteenth Day of November
Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and Twenty five that the afd Andrew Macguyer
Stand in the pillory for the Space of one quarter of an hour and that
