CHAP. 92.

An act for the relief of Frederick A. Stuart, of the City
of Baltimore.

Passed Feb.25, 1833

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Commissioners of Insolvent Debtors of the city
and county of Baltimore, be, and they are hereby authoris-
ed and empowered, to grant to Frederick A. Stuart, of

Insolvent act ex-

tended

the city of Baltimore, the benefit of the several acts of As-
sembly, passed for the relief of insolvent debtors; provided,
the said Frederick A. Stuart, shall, in all respects, (except
that of proving residence) comply with the requisitions of
said acts of Assembly, and that he satisfy the said com-
missioners that he did not come into this State with the
view of obtaining the benefit of the insolvent laws.

CHAPTER 92.


An act to repeal all that part of the Constitution and form
of government, as relates to the division of Washington
county into seven separate election districts, and for oilier
purposes.

Passed Feb.24, 1833

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That so much of the constitution of the State
as relates to the division of Washington county into elec-
tion districts, be, and the same is hereby altered and amend-
ed so far as to authorise the erection of an additional dis-
trict in said county, to be composed of parts of the first
and sixth election districts.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That if this act shall be con-
firmed by the General Assembly of Maryland, after the
next election of delegates to the General Assembly, at the
first session after such new election, as the constitution
and form of government of this State directs; in such case,
this act, and the alterations to the constitution therein con-
tained, shall constitute and be valid as a part of said con-
stitution and form of government, to all intents and pur-
poses, any thing therein contained to the contrary not-
withstanding.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That if this act shall be con-
firmed according to the provisions of the constitution and
form of government, in such case made and provided,
