CHAP. 10.

within the time limited by law, and that she now prays that
a law may pass to authorize the clerk of Harford county
court, to record and make valid the said deed, and the same
appearing reasonable — Therefore,
|

|
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the clerk of Harford county court, be, and he is hereby
authorised and required to record the said deed of manu-
mission from Elizabeth Smith, liberating Joseph Lisby
from slavery, and when recorded, to be of the same validily
to all intents and purposes, as if the same had been recorded
within the time limited by law for recording such deeds.

A supplement to an act, entitled, an act to incorporate the
Savings' Institution of Dorchester County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the time for carrying into operation, the act, entitled,
an act to incorporate the Savings' Institution of Dorches-
ter county, passed December session eighteen hundred and
thirty one, chapter two hundred eighty six, be and the
same is hereby extended until the twentieth day of Decem-
ber eighteen hundred and thirty three.

|
An act to authorise Thomas Bruce, the present Sheriff of
Prince George's county, to bond as sheriff of said county
at any time before the tenth day of February next, and to
authorise the clerk of said county to receive and record said
bond.

|
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Thomas Bruce, Esquire, the present she-
riff of Prince Georges' county, be, and he is hereby autho-
rised to bond as sheriff of said county at any time before
the tenth day of February next; Provided, the said bond
shall be approved and attested according to law.

Georges' county court, be, and he is hereby authorised and
