thereof, and the operation of said act is thereby delayed
for the period of nearly one year, and contrary to the in-
tention of the General Assembly, that intention having been

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the said act, be, and the same is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after the pas-

spector of Green Hides and Skins, in the city of Balti-
mire, that shall have been made by the Governor and Coun-
cil before the passing of this act, shall be deemed and
taken to be valid and effectual as if said act had gone into
full force and operation from the first day of May in the
year eighteen hundred and thirty-two.

CHAPTER 48.


An act to authorize the closing up of a part of Scott street,
and a part of Dawson alley, in the City of Baltimore.

Passed Jan 29, 1833

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That on the application, in writing, of the own-
ers of all the ground between Pratt street and Hollins street,
over which Scott street (not now opened) has been laid out,
and would pass if opened agreeably to the platt, made and
returned by the Commissioners appointed to lay out streets,
&c. in the City of Baltimore, the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore shall be, and they are hereby authorized to
pass an Ordinance, declaring the said part of Scott street

ground, over which the said part of said street was laid
out, shall thereupon severally be entitled to use and im-
prove their respective portions of the said ground, in the
same manner to all intents and purposes, as if no street
had ever been located on the same.
