CHAP. 44.

manner as if the same had been cleared and opened with-
in the time prescribed by the act, passed at December ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and twenty-five, chapter two hun-

and altering public roads in Baltimore county, and the said
roads, or either of them, when cleared and opened as afore-
said, shall be declared to be public highways, and shall
be kept in repair as other county roads are.


CHAPTER 43.

Passed Feb. 13,1833

An act for the relief of Alfred Lee, of Montgomery county.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Montgomery County Court, or any one of the Judges
thereof, in the recess of the said Court, or any Judge of
the Orphans' Court, shall, and may, forthwith extend to
said Alfred Lee all the benefits, advantages, and provisions
of the laws and supplements for the relief of insolvent deb-
tors in this State, without requiring him to produce to the
said Court or Judge, proof of residence, or of having given
the notice required by the same laws and supplements;

Condition..

provided, that said Alfred Lee shall in all other respects
comply with the provisions of the Insolvent Laws of this
State, and satisfy said Court or Judge, that he did not
come into this State for the purpose of availing himself of
the Insolvent Laws thereof.


CHAPTER 44.

Passe Feb.13, 1833

An ad relating to Parkin street in the city of Baltimore.

Time limited for

openings

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That so much of Parkin street, now not opened,
as is to run from Columbia street to Washington avenue
in the City of Baltimore, shall be opened before the first
day of July next, and if not opened by that time, it shall
remain forever closed.

Mayor and City

council authorised

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That full power and authority
is hereby given to the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more, to provide by ordinance, for the ascertainment of
the damages that may accrue to the holders of property in
