1832. RESOLUTIONS.
—— additional commissioner or engineer may be necessary and
valuable;—Therefore,
Resolved ly the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Governor and Council be, and they are hereby autho-
rized to appoint an additional Commissioner or Engineer
to co-operate in the contemplated survey.
Resolved, That his Excellency the Governor be request-
ed to correspond with the Executive authorities of Virginia
and Delaware, with the view of fixing a time and place for
the meeting of the commissioners.
Resolved, That should the President of the United .
States, at the request of the Governor of this State, de-
signate an Engineer to make the contemplated survey, that
this State, with the States of Virginia and Delaware, or
either of them, will pay for the service of such Engineer.

Resolution for the compensation of the Members of the
Legislature.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, pay to each member
of the Senate, and House of Delegates and their officers,
the per diem allowance to which they are respectively en-
titled, since the closing of the journal of accounts, up-to
Monday twenty-fifth instant, inclusive.

Resolution relative to. the Printing.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Governor arid Council be, and they are hereby author-
ised to settle and pay to the Printers of either House, for
such work as they have or may finish subsequent to the
closing of the journal of accounts.
Resolved, That the said Printers direct to the Senators
and Delegates, and pack with the laws for the several coun-
ties such documents as may be completed after the close
of the session.
