RESOLUTIONS.

No. 76.


Resolution relative to distribution of the Laws of Mary-
land, and of the Journal of Votes and Proceedings a-
mong the Sheriffs and county commissioners of the
State.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Governor and Council be authorized to furnish the
Sheriff, and county commissioners of each county of this
state, with a copy of the laws of Maryland, and the jour-
nal of the votes and proceedings of the legislature as other
officers of the counties of this state are supplied.


No. 77.

Passed Mar.15, 1833

Resolution relative to the Library.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Register of the Land Office of the Western Shore,
shall be allowed as free access to, and use of the Library,
established for the use of the Legislature, as the members
thereof, or of the Executive, or the Judges of the Court
of Appeals.

Passed March 15

Resolution relative to Militia Officers.

WHEREAS, by a resolution of this General Assembly,
passed on the fourteenth of March last, the Adjutant Gen-
eral of this state was required to strike from his records the
names of all such officers of the militia of this state, as
should not in obedience to a notice directed by the same
resolution publicly to be given, report themselves to his de-
partment, on or before the first day of November then next;
and whereas, a great number of useful and valuable officers
have been in consequence of said resolution, stricken from
the rolls, because of a failure on their part from inadver-
tence to report themselves as required.
Be it therefore resolved by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the aforesaid resolution, passed on the four-
