hundred and twenty-nine, directing the distribution of cer-
tain extra-sets of the acts of Congress, now in the state li-
brary, be and is hereby made perpetual, and that the state
librarian is hereby authorized and directed to send to each
of the county clerks, and registers of wills, of the several
counties of this state, one complete set of the acts of Con-
gress, as far back as he may have them; and that annual-
ly thereafter, he shall furnish said clerks and registers,
each with a copy, to be sent with the annual laws passed
by the legislature.
Further Resolved, That the said librarian shall send twelve
complete sets of said acts of Congress, and twelve copies
annually hereafter to the clerk of each county, whose duty
it shall be to distribute the same to twelve commissioned
justices of the peace, whose locations may be such as most
tive to the laws of the Union.

Resolution in favor of the President and Visitors of the
Maryland Hospital.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the western shore, be and he is hereby au-
thorized and directed to pay, on the first day of January
next, to the President and Visitors of the Maryland Hos-
pital, such sum as may be necessary, not exceeding five
thousand dollars, out of any money, unappropriated in the
treasury, to be applied by them towards the necessary re-
pairs of the said hospital, and to purchase furniture for the
same.
Further Resolved, That the President and Visitors of
the Maryland Hospital, give bond to the state, conditioned
for the faithful discharge of the duty which will devolve
on them, by virtue of the above resolution.
