Resolution in favour of Andrew Slicer, messenger to the
Senate, and John Quynn, door-keeper, to the House of
Delegates.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of the Western Shore, pay to Andrew Slicer,
messenger to the Senate, and John Quynn, door-keeper of
the House of Delegates, the sum of sixty dollars each, for
taking care of their respective rooms and furniture, during
the recess of the Legislature.

Resolution relative to the State Library.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the sum of three hundred dollars, be and the same is here-
by appropriated annually in addition to the present annu-
al appropriation of two hundred dollars for the gradual
augmentation of the State Library, and that his Excellen-
cy the Governor, is hereby authorized to draw upon the
treasurer of the Western Shore, for the whole or any part
thereof, from time to time, in payment for such books as
may be purchased by order of the joint committee on the
library; when the same shall have been delivered and' certi-
fied by the librarian.
