Resolution relative to two certain accounts referred to in
the Governor's Message of the fifteenth Feb. last.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the two accounts referred to in the Governor's Message of
the fifteenth February last, be referred to the Governor and
Council, with directions to audit the same, and to draw
upon the Treasurer of the Western Shore, for such sum as
they may find necessary to pay the same; and that what-
ever amount they may draw for, be paid over to the pay-
master of the extra battalion of Dorchester county.

Resolution in favour of William Scharf of Baltimore
county.
WHEREAS, William Scharf of Baltimore county hath
petitioned this General Assembly, to be released from the
payment of the interest on a certain debt due by him to the
commissioners of Baltimore county, as surety for Robert
H. Scharf, a collector of taxes— Therefore,
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the said William Scharf, be, and he is hereby discharged
from the payment of any interest on the said debt, upon his
paying the principal sum thereof; Provided, the commis-
sioners of Baltimore county shall be satisfied of the pro-
priety of such discharge, and assent to the same; and fur-
ther provided, that the said principal sum shall be fully
paid to the said commissioners or to their order, on or be-
fore the first day of July next.
