No. 66.

Passed March. 21

Resolution in favor of Anne Semmes, of Georgetown,
District of Columbia.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of the Western Shore, pay to Anne Semmes, of
Georgetown, District of Columbia, in consideration of ser-
vices rendered by her deceased husband, Thomas Beatty, a
lieutenant in the revolutionary war, or to her order, during
life, in quarter yearly payments, a sum of money equal to
the half pay of a Lieutenant.

Passed Mar. 21, 1833

Resolution in favor of Joseph Williams, of Annapolis, a
soldier of the revolution.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Register of the Land Office for the Western Shore
issue to Joseph Williams, of Annapolis, a soldier of the
revolutionary war, a common warrant lor fifty acres of va-
cant land, lying in Allegany county, and issue a patent for
the said quantity of acres of land, upon a certificate of the
survey thereof duly returned, without requiring payment,
or proof of payment, or any composition money therefor.

Passed Mar. 20, 1833

Resolution relative to Newspapers.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, pay to George G.
Brewe, chief clerk of the House of Delegates, and Jbs.
H. Niciolson, chief cleit of the Senate, out of any unap-
propriate money in the Treasury, the several amount of
such accents as may from time to time be presented to
him by said clerks, for the newspapers they have furnish-
ed for the uwe of the members of their respective houses, in
accordance with the order adopted for that purpose by
said Houses.
