RESOLUTIONS. 1832.
Resolved, That the Register of the Land Office for the
Western Shore, be, authorized to issue for and in the name
of John Burbridge, a common warrant for two hundred and
ninety-four acres of vacant land, in Allegany county, as a
remuneration for his past warrant, not executed, and the
same lost or mislaid.

Resolution in favour of Ann Martin, of Prince George's
county.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, pay to Ann Martin, of
Prince George's county, widow of the tote Adam Wykall,
or Wycall, or to her order, duing her widowhood, in quar-
ter yearly payments, a sum of money equal to the half pay
of a private, in consideration of the services rendered by
her said deceased husband, during the revolutionary war.

Resolution relative to the Prince Frederick-town Academy,
in Calvert County.
WHEREAS, by resolution number thirty-four, passed by
the General Assembly of Maryland, at December session,
eighteen hundred and thirty-three, requiring the Treasurer
of the Western Shore to equalize the donations granted
to the Academies and Schools in the several counties of
this State, so as to give eight hundred dollars for each
county; And whereas, the Legislature have been petitioned
by sundry citizens of Calvert county, that the Treasurer of
the Western Shore be authorised to pay to the trustees of
the Prince Frederick-town Academy, three hundred dollars
out of the sum allotted as aforesaid, to said County;—
Therefore,
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore of this State, be here-
by authorised and directed, to pay to the Trustees of Prince
Frederick-town Academy, in Calvert county, three hundred
dollars, which will become due for said county, on the first
