Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That John Hoye, George
McCulloh, and John Slicer, or a majority of them,
of Allegany county, be, and they are hereby appointed

mation of this act, to review the several election districts

council, are hereby authorised and directed to appoint
commissioner or commissioners, in place of any of the
commissioners herein named, who may die, resign, refuse

Confirmation re-
quired.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That if this act shall be con-
firmed by the general assembly of Maryland, after the next
election of delegates, to the general assembly, at the first
session after such new election, as the constitution and
form of government of this state directs, in such case, this
ed, shall constitute and be valid as a part of said consti-
tution and form of government to all intents and purposes;
any thing therein contained to the contrary notwithstand-
ing.

Compensation to
commissioners.
|
Sec. 4. And. be it enacted, That the commissioners herein
authorized to be appointed, shall be entitled to receive such
compensation for their services, as the commissioners of
Allegany county may deem reasonable, not exceeding the
sum of two dollars per day, for every day they shall be ne-
cessarily employed in the discharge of the duties required
by this act.
