CHAP. 211.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Ann be, and
she is hereby declared to be entitled to the custody and
guardianship of her child by her marriage with said Henry.

A Supplement to an act, entitled, an act to Incorporate the
Steam Company, of Princess Jlnne, passed at December
Session, eighteen hundred and fifteen, chapter fifty two.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, the operations of the Steam company of
Princess Anne, have been suspended by the burning of its
factories; and whereas,the individuals concerned therein
are desirous of rebuilding the establishment — Therefore,

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Asemsbly of
Maryland, That the present Stockholders of the company
incorporated by the act to which this is a supplement, be,
and they are hereby authorised to hold an election for man-
agers of said company, at such time and place as may be
most convenient to them, under and according to the pro-
vision of the said original act, and in like manner, to hold

their elections for officers annually thereafter, during the
existence of said act, their failure heretofore to hold such

election to the contrary notwithstanding, and the proceed-
ings of the former President and managers, being accord-
ing to the act of incorporation, are hereby confirmed and
made valid.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That for the purpose of re-
building the factories and conducting the operations of the
company, the President and managers or a majority of
them shall have full power in their discretion to change the
site of the institution from any other within the limits of
Somerset county, and they are hereby authorized from time

deem expedient and proper; Provided nevertheless, that the
capital stock of said company shall never exceed the sum

the act to which this is a supplement.
