manner that other county levies are now made, and when
collected, shall be paid over by the commissioners of said
counties, to the commissioners hereinafter appointed to
contract for and superintend the repair of the bridge afore-
said, or their order, as the case may be, as soon as the
same shall be collected.

CHAP. 153.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That Charles W. Dorsey,
William Emmons, and George Burgess, be, and they
are hereby appointed commissioners, and they, or a ma-
jority of them, are hereby authorised and required, to con-
tract for, superintend, and direct the repair of the bridge
aforesaid, and to render to the commissioners of said
counties respectively, at their meeting next after the com-
pletion of the said bridge, or within six months thereafter,
a true, full and fair account of all monies by them laid out
and expended by virtue of this act, in repairing said
bridge, and the commissioners of said counties, shall
make such compensation to the commissioners appointed
by this act, as they in their judgments shall think proper.

CHAPTER 152.


A Supplement to the act, entitled, "an act to make valid cer-
tain proceedings ," passed at December session, eighteen
hundred and twenty-six, chapter ninety-nine.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the rights, privileges, exemptions, and protection,
granted to the several banks in this State, by the act to
which this is a supplement, shall be, and they and each of
them are hereby extended and granted to all other corpo-
rate bodies, and to all citizens and residents of this State.

An act for the, relief of Edward W. Belt, former Collector
of Prince George's county.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Edward W. Belt, former Collector of Prince George's
county, and his deputies, or any agent by him or them ap-
pointed, be, and they are hereby authorised and empower-
ed, to collect any balance of taxes, which may be due the
