CHAP. 125.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That all the expense which
shall accrue in making the alteration of the Road and Line
as aforesaid, and recording the proceedings and papers in
the case, shall be paid by the individuals interested in the
alteration intended hereby to be made.


CHAPTER 124.

Passed Mar. 23, 1833

An act to divorce George Twilly and Priscilla Twilly, of
Worcester County.

Divorce granted.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the marriage of George Twilly and Priscilla Twilly,
of Worcester county, heretofore solemnized, be, and the
same is hereby declared to be absolutely, and to all intents
and purposes, null and void, and the said George Twilly
and Priscilla Twilly, are declared to be divorced, a vinculo


CHAPTER 125.

Passed Mar.2, 1833

An act incorporating a Company to make a Turnpike Road
from Williamsport to Hagerstown.

rated

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That a company be and the same is hereby incor-
porated, for making a turnpike road, to be commenced at
the eastern limits of the town of Williamsport, in Wash-
ington county, and continued thence by the nearest and
best route, to the town of Hagerstown in said county.

Books for sub-

cription.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That for making said road,
subscription books for a capital stock of thirty thousand
dollars, in fifteen hundred shares, at twenty dollars each,
be opened in Williamsport and Hagerstown aforesaid, by,
or under the directions of all or any of the following com-
missioners, to wit: Eli Beatty, William D. McGill, John
T. Miller, Charles A. Warfield, (of A.) and A. M. C.
Cramer, on the first Monday in June next, and continue
open for three days inclusive, and in the event of eleven
hundred shares of said stock not being subscribed for, at
the expiration of the said three days, in the manner here-
inafter provided, that then, and in that event, the said
