CHAP. 113.

Notice required

previous to taking

deposition

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the reasonable notice
to be given to any party, his or her agent, or attorney, or
guardian, if such party be a minor, interested in the taking
of any deposition, if within this state, prescribed by the
third section of the act to which this is a supplement,
shall be, at least, ten days previous notice; of which notice,
unless the party, agent, or attorney, or guardian, if such
party be a minor, shall attend the court in which such de-
position is offered in evidence, shall be satisfied, before
such deposition is permitted to be offered in evidence.

Repeal.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That so much of the act to
which this is a supplement as is inconsistent with the pro-
visions of this act, be and the same is hereby repealed.


CHAPTER 112.

Passed Feb.28, 1833

An act for the relief of Bernard Henry, late of the city of
Baltimore.

Insolvent laws ex-

tended to.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Commissioners of Insolvent Debtors, for the city
and county of Baltimore, be, and they are hereby authorised
and empowered, to grant to Bernard Henry, late of the
city of Baltimore, the benefit of the several Acts of As-
sembly, passed for the relief of insolvent debtors; Provided,
the said Bernard Henry shall, in all respects, (except that of
proving residence,) comply with the requisitions of said
Acts of Assembly, and that he satisfy the said commis-
sioners, that he did not come into this State with the view
obtaining the benefit of the said Insolvent Laws."


CHAPTER 113.

An act to regulate the compensation of Jurors and witnesses
in Somerset and Worcester Counties.

$1.50 per diem
and mileage to ju-

rors

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That each and every Juror hereafter to be sum-
moned on the regular pannel of Jurors, to the County
Courts of Somerset and Worcester counties, shall be en-
titled to receive for each day in which he shall attend as a
Juror, the sum of one dollar and fifty cents, and in addi-
