CHAPTER 110.

CHAP. 111.

A Supplement to an act, passed at November session, eighteen
hundred and two, chapter eighty-one, to make public the
proceedings of the levy courts in the several counties of
this Slate, arid for other purposes, so far as relates to
Washington County.

Passed Feb 28,1833

WHEREAS, it is desirable that a more general diffusion
of information should be made of the proceedings of the
commissioners of Washington county in this State; —
Therefore,

Preamble

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Commissioners of Washington county be and
they are hereby authorised and required to cause a correct
and fair copy of their levy list to be made out, shewing the
amount of levy, and the objects for which the same was
made respectively, and to cause the same to be published
in at least two of the public newspapers printed in said
county, for at least three successive weeks previous to the
first Monday in October next, and so in like manner in
each and every year thereafter, in addition to the duties
they are now required to perform by the act to which this
is a supplement.

CHAPTER 111.


A Supplement to an act, entitled, "an act to provide for
taking testimony in civil cases," passed at December ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and twenty-eight, chapter one hun-
dred and sixty-five.

Passed Feb. 23, 1833

WHEREAS, no provision is made by the act to -which
this is a supplement, for the appointment of a guardian to
a minor interested in the testimony to be taken, if such
minor hath not a guardian; — Therefore,

Preamble.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That if any minor shall be interested as afore-
said, who hath not a guardian, then the county court of
the district where such minor shall reside, or either of the
judges thereof, in the vacation thereof, upon the application
of the plaintiff, his or her agent, or attorney, or guardian,
if such party be a minor, shall appoint a guardian for the
