CHAP. 86

An act to make valid a deed from Nancy Beall, Thomas
Ward Beall, and Eliza Beall, his wife, to Michael C
Sprigg

Passed Feb, 17 1835

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the deed of bargain and sale from Nancy Beall, Thomas
Ward Beall, and Eliza Beall, all of Fairfield county, State
of Ohio, to Michael C Sprigg, dated the thirtieth day of
November, one thousand eight hundred and thirty four, for
the real estate therein mentioned, shall be, and it is ratified
and confirmed, notwithstanding any defect there may be in
the acknowledgement and execution of said deed, by said
grantors, and notwithstanding any defect there may be in the
certificate oi the judge who took such acknowledgment, and
the real estate therein mentioned, to be the right and estate
of the said Michael C Sprigg, his heirs and assigns, forever,

according to the original meaning and intention of the said
grantors Provided nevertheless, that it shall be the duty of
the said Michael C Sprigg, to record said deed in the land
records of Allegany county, according to the existing laws
of this state

CHAPTER 86

An act to close certain Streets within the Depot of the Balti-
more and Ohio Rail Road Company m the city of Bal-
timore.

Passed Feb. 16, 1835

Section 1 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the proceedings of the board of commission-
ers, to lay out streets, lanes and alleys, in the city of Balti-
more, under the provisions of an act of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, entitled, an act relating to the city of Bal-
timore, passed at December session eighteen hundred and
seventeen, chapter one hundred forty eight, be, and the same
are hereby annulled and made utterly void and of no effect,
so far as they relate to that piece or parcel of land, occupi-
ed as a depot, by the Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road Com-
pany, near the intersection of Washington Avenue with
Pratt Street, in the said city, and which was conveyed by
