The Marine, and the Farmers' and

Merchants', until 1856.

The Mechanics', and Franklin,until

1857.

The Commercial & Farmers', and

the Baltimore, until 1858.

The Union, until 1859; provided said

banks become subject alter 1845, to

the rules, restrictions and limitations

prescribed in the charter to the Mer-

chants' Bank of Baltimore, and to the

11th, 12th, 13th and 15th sections of

said charter,

And on acceptance of this act, be-

come also subject to the 14th section

of sard act,

Said banks to pay annual tax of 20

cents in each $100 of capital paid in,

and a bonus of $75,000 in proportions,

according to their respective capitals,

And to relinquish the exclusive

banking in Baltimore,
