CHAP 36

Sec 3 And be it enacted, That if any of the parties con-
cerned, shall be dissatisfied with the assessment of damages,
they shall have the right of appeal as provided by law in
similar cases
|

Sec 4 And be it enacted, That said Commissioners shall,
before proceeding to act, make oath before some justice of
the peace, that they will act impartially, and without fear or
favor
|
|

Payment required
|
Sec 5 And be it enacted, That this act shall be null and
void, unless the said William Dorsey pay all expenses of
valuing and laying off said road
Sec 6 And be it enacted, That the Commissioners, or a
majority of them, shall make a report of their proceedings,
and annex a plat of the road thereto, and, file the same
among the records of the clerk's office

A supplement to an act, entitled, an act to Incorporate "The
Trustees of St Lucas' Reformed Church in Union Town, "
passed at December session eighteen hundred and eighteen,
chapter one hundred and twelve.
|

|
WHEREAS, it is represented to this Legislature, by the
petition of Jacob Appler, senior, and others, that there now
exists two vacancies (occasioned by death) in the Board of
Trustees of St Lucas' Reformed Church in Union Town,
and it appearing doubtful to Jacob Appler, senior, one of
your petitioners and surviving trustee, whether he can by
himself, under the provisions of the said act of incorpora
tion, make any election or appointment of trustees to fill
said vacancies, — Therefore,

Trustees.
|
Section 1 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, I hat Jacob Appler, senior, be, and he is hereby
authorised and empowered, to elect and appoint two per
sons to the office of trustees of said Church, who, with
himself, shall be the trustees of said Church, and shall
hare all the power which, by the said original act, is vested
in the Trustees of said Church

Case of vacancy
|
Sec 2. And be it further enacted, That hereafter, if two
vacancies shall happen, by the death, resignation, or remo-
val of two of the trustees of said Church, the Remaining
