RESOLUTIONS.

and the Governor is hereby authorised to draw on the
Treasurer of the Western Shore for the amount necessary
to pay the cost of such publication; Provided, the same
shall not exceed seventy five dollars tor each paper.

Resolution authorising an Index to be made of the votes
and proceedings of the Legislature of Maryland, from
the year seventeen hundred and seventy six to eighteen
hundred and twenty nine.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Governor and Council be, and they are hereby authorised
to appoint some competent person or persons to make out
a complete Index to the votes and proceedings of the le-
gislature of Maryland, commencing with the year seven-
teen hundred and seventy six, and continue the same down
to the year eighteen hundred and twenty nine, and report
the same, when completed, to the General Assembly.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to Joseph Mayo, eight
dollars, for services rendered the Senate as an extra clerk.

Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to Alexander Tyler,
Hyde Ray Bowie, Jeremiah Loockerman, and James
Hunter, each four dollars, for their services as extra clerks.
