No. 83.

1S34.

Resolution in favor of William S. Hambleton

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to William S. Ham
bleton, eight dollars, the per diem for two days, omitted or
the journal; John L. Dorsey, one day; Samuel Sutton, for
one day; out of any unappropriated money in the treasury

No. 84.

Resolution in favor of Brookville Academy.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the,
Treasurer of the Western Shore be authorised and directed
to pay to the trustees of Brookville Academy, in Montgo-
mery county, or their order, the sum of two hundred dol-
lars, winch shall become due on the first day of April next,
in virtue of this resolution, and annually, thereafter, the
same sum.
Resolved, That the trustees of Brookville Academy shall
be, and are hereby required to comply with the requisition
of the act of eighteen hundred and twenty three, chapter
one hundred and forty one, in the same manner as other
academies, receiving donations from the State, are now
required.

No. 85.

Resolution relative to the Banks in the City of Baltimore.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
whole amount of the tax of twenty cents in the hundred
dollars, of the capital actually paid in, or to be paid in, of
the several Banks in the city of Baltimore, the charters of
which are extended by the act of the present session, en-
titled, an act to extend the charters of the several Banks in
the city of Baltimore, shall, as the same may come into the
reasury, be applied as directed by the ninth section of the
