Resolution authorising the Librarian to receive Congres
sional Documents due the State.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
David Ridgely, the State Librarian, be, and he is hereby
authorised and directed to receive and receipt for the Con-
gressional Documents due to the State, by the act of Con-
gress, passed at the first session of the twenty second
Congress, and approved July the tenth, eighteen hnndred
I and thirty two, together with any other public documents
heretofore presented by acts of Congress, and not received.

Resolution its favor of Folly Stephens.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of the. Western Shore pay to Polly Stephens,
widow of Levi Stephens, a soldier of the revolution, the
half pay of a private during her life, in quarterly payments,

WHEREAS, by resolution number twenty four, passed at
December session, eighteen hundred and thirty three, cap-
tain Joseph Branson was authorised to take possession of
six pieces of Artillery, belonging to the State, and cause
the same to be repaired; and whereas, Captain Branson re-
ligoed his commission before he had carried into effect tke
provisionsof taid reidlution;— Therefore,
