A» act for the payment of the Journal of Accounts
WHEREAS, it appears by the journal of accounts of this
session, that there is due from this State the Bum of fortysix
thousand six hundred and forty two dollars and seventy
nine cents.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western shore, be and he is hereby
authorised and required to pay to the several persons, their
executors, administrators, assigns, or orders, or to such of
them as shall apply to receive the same, the several sums of
money allowed to them respectively, as they appear to
be settled and ascertained by the said journal of accounts
out of any money now rn the treasury, subject to appropria
tion by the General Assembly

An act for the benefit of Dr Henry Claggett, of Leesburgh,
in London County, in the State of Virginia
|

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland That
it shall and may be lawful for Dr. Henry Claggett, of Lou
don county in the State of Virginia, to remove his negro
slaves from his farm in Virginia, to his farm in Frederick
county Maryland, and from his said farm in Frederick coun-
ty, to hrs said farm rn Loudon county Virginia, as often and
at such times as the sard Claggett, may deem fit, provided,
he cause a record entry to be made rn the clerks office in
Frederick Town in said county, designating the age, name,
and sex of said regroes, immediately after bringing them
into this State, or as soon thereafter as practicable
