CHAP. 205.

the surrender of that part of the Cumberland Road passing
through the territory of Maryland, in full confidence that a
fair portion of the money, appropriated by the second sec-
tion of said act, for the completion of the Cumberland
Road east of the Ohio River, will be expended under the
direction of the Secretary of War, within the limits of this
State, where it is most required, to complete the same.

CHAPTER 204.

Passed Mar. 16, 1835

A supplement to an act entitled, an act to Incorporate the
Liberty Copper Company.

Subscriptions au-
thorised

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the Company incorporated by the act to which

: this is a supplement, may, from time to time, receive sub-
scriptions to the capital stock of said Company, in shares of
one hundred dollars each, to any amount not exceeding two
thousand shares, which shall be the maximum of the capital
stock of said Company, any thing in the original act to the
contrary notwithstanding.

When authorised
to operate

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That so soon as one thousand
of the said shares shall have been subscribed for, and twenty
dollars, current money, shall have been paid in, on each and
every one of said shares, then the said Company shall have
full power and authority to commence operations, and ex-
ercise and enjoy all the powers, privileges, and immunities
granted them by the act to which this is a supplement, any
thing in said act to the contrary notwithstanding.

CHAPTER 205.

Passed Mar. 14, 1835

An act for the revaluation of the Real and Personal Property
in Calvert County.

Reassessment au-
thorised

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the County Commissioners for Calvert county, be, and they
are hereby authorised to meet at Prince Fredericktown, as
soon as may be practicable after the passage of this act,
