An act for the relief of James B. Collins, of Caroline
County.
|

|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Judges of Caroline County Court, be, and they are
hereby authorised and empowered to grant to James B.
Collins, the benefit of the several acts of Assembly, passed
for the relief of insolvent debtors; Provided, that the said
James B. Collins shall, in all respects, except that of prov-
ing residence, comply with the requisitions of said acts of
assembly, and that he satisfy the said Judges that he
did not come into this Slate with a view of obtaining the
benefit of said insolvent laws aforesaid; provided also, that the
said James B. Collins shall be compelled to file his petition
for the benefit of said insolvent laws, previous to his dis-
charge from custody.

An act to alter and change the name of Slab Town, in Dor-
chester County, to that of Williamsburg.
|

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the name of the village in Dorchester county, heretofore
called and known by the name of Slab Town, be, and the
same is hereby altered and changed to that of Williams-
burg, and by that name shall be known and called at all
times hereafter.
