CHAPTER 136

Passed Mar 5, 1835

An act relating to the Inspection of Lumber, in the City of
Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.

Deputy inspector

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
from and after the passage of this act, the Measurer and
Inspector of Lumber, at the City of Annapolis, shall have
power to appoint a deputy, who shall hold his office during
the pleasure of the principal Inspector, and no longer, and
the said deputy, when so appointed, shall take the same
oath, or affirmation, as is contained in the second section
of an act, passed at December session, eighteen hundred
and eleven, chapter seventy, entitled, An act to regulate the
Inspection of Lumber

CHAPTER 137.

Passed Mar. 5, 1835

An act to survey, lay out, mark, and make a plot of the Lots
in the town of Frostburg, in Allegany County

Preamble

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assembly
that owners of lots in the town of Frostburg, in Alle-
gany County, are rendered insecure 'n then rights to
said lots, not being sufficiently marked and designated, nor
record of the same, — Therefore,

Commissioners to

lay off &c

Section 1 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma
ryland, That Andrew Bruce, William Ridgely, and Thomas
Beall, Esquires, or a majority of them, be, and they are
hereby appointed Commissioners to layout and establish
the lines of said town, and the lots therein, as now held
and possessed by the several owners thereof, and having
so lard out the courses and distances, and the lined of the
lots as so laid out and marked as herein intended, the said
Commissioners are hereby authorised and required to make

a plat of the said town, and file it in the office of Allegany
County Court, to be there recorded among the land records
of said County, and it is hereby made the duty of the clerk
to record the same

Sec 2 And be it enacted, That the said proprietors and
owners of the lots, parts of lots, and parcels of land in the
town of Frostburg, and their heirs and assigns, may hereafter
