Ceased, upon such terms and conditions, as to them, or either
of them, may seem just and proper, Provided, they, or
either of them, be satisfied that the sold John Wilson is
deaf and dumb, and cannot, therefore, be informed of the
proceedings aforementioned, and provided further, they, or
either of them, be satisfied that a sale of said real estate of
the said John Johnson, is necessary to the payment of his
debts

An act for the relief of Brice Selby, Clerk of Montgomery
County Court.
|

|
WHEREAS, Brice Selby, Clerk of Montgomery County
Court, by his petition to this General Assembly, represents,
that by reason of long and severe illness, he has been unable
to prepare his office fees for the Sheriff, and will be unable
to place them in the hands of the Sheriff by the time re
quired by law, and has prayed a further extension of time
for the purposes aforesaid, — Therefore,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
Brice Selby, Clerk of Montgomery County Court, be, and
he is hereby allowed until the twenty fifth day of May next
ensuing the passage of this act, to prepare his fees for col-
lection, and to place them in the hands of the Sheriff of
Montgomery county, for collection, and that the said She-
riff be, and he is hereby required to receive the same on or
before the day aforesaid, and to collect the same according
to law, and that the liability of the said Sheriff for the said
fees shall be as full and entire, as if the said fees were
placed in his hands within the time now required by law,
Provided, that the said fees shall not be demandable, in law,
of the said Sheriff, by the said Clerk, until between the
first and tenth day of January, eighteen hundred and thirty
