Payment into, of twenty cents in each
hundred dollars of capital stock actually
paid into the Bank of Salisbury, required
annually, pledged for the support
of free schools
On application of, the Attorney General
to appoint Attorneys in such counties
as he has no resident deputies, to
attend to State claims, &c.
Made the duty of, to direct suit, &c.
for any pecuniary right or credit of the
State, which the debtor shall withhold
three months or more
Deputy of Attorney General or Attornies
appointed by, &c. shall aid the,
by advice &c. in the adjustment and
settlement of accounts of revenue officers
of their respective counties, &c.
Authorised to allow and pay such attorney
a commission, not exceeding 5
per centum of all monies sued for, and
which shall be before such allowance
paid into the treasury directly
Authorised to issue and deliver to the
Managers of the Washington Monument,
certificates of stock to the amount
of $25,000, bearing interest of 5 per
ct. redeemable at the pleasure of the
State on three months notice; for the
payment of the interest of which certain
proceeds of the state Lotteries are
pledged
Authorised in his discretion to apply
certain other proceeds of the State
Lotteries to the redemption of the principal
of the certificates of stock issued
to the Managers of the Washington
Monument
