Sec.
ROAD.
Harpers' Ferry; extending its provisions
and repealing the 11th section thereof,
    The Governor and Council to appoint
a person to represent the State in
all meetings of the Stockholders, of all
joint stock companies, and vote therein,
which have been, or may hereafter be
incorporated to make,
    To confirm the proceedings and
extend the time of making a, in Baltimore
county; allowing James Carroll
Junr. and Thomas C. Ristean, four
months from 1st March next to complete
&c,
    Supplement to the act authorising a,
through Frederick; Anne-Arundel and
Montgomery counties; directing a new
location of part thereof,
    Authorising and empowering the levy
courts of the several counties therein
mentioned to alter, open and shut up,
in their respective counties,
    The levy court and commissioners,
as the case may be, of Charles, Caroline,
Washington and Calvert counties,
fully empowered to alter, open and shut
up, in their respective counties, and to
levy money for said purposes or assess
damages, as to them shall seem meet
and equitable,
    Notice required to be given to persons
interested,
    Appeal provided from the decision
of the levy court, to the county court &c.
    Any testimony or deposition, taken
before a commissioner &c. under the
act of 1828, chap, 165, shall be admissable
evidence in cases of, without the
personal attendance of any witness &c,
    All former acts in relation to altering,
opening, shutting up, or establishing, in
said counties, repealed,
    Supplement to the act of 1818, chap.
89, to regulate the manner of obtaining
and altering the public in this state,
    Commissioners appointed under the
original act, shall give at least thirty
days notice in one or more newspapers
published in the county &c. or in case
