Supplement to incorporation; authorising
the election of nine directors and
a president, annually; to make lead
pipes, &c.
Further additional supplement to establish,
etc.
Vessels drawing 9 feet water, or measuring
100 tons, coming from sea, required
to receive the first pilot that offers
below the Horse Shoe, or pay half
pilotage to the first port; and on going
to sea, shall continue the same or another
pilot belonging to the same company
provided they apply, or pay half
pilotage to the capes
Distribution of money received for
pilotage
No person to receive a warrant as a
first rate pilot, unless he hath employed
himself at least 3 years in piloting vessels
of any draft, or has served 5 years
as an apprentice to the business
Penalty of 50 dollars imposed on any
pilot for receiving either greater or less
fees for piloting, than may be allowed
by law
Penalty of $30 imposed on any master
of a vessel refusing to inform the
pilot of his tonage, or show his register
or license, &c.
Board of examiners directed to refuse
or suspend warrants to any pilot, who
from intemperance, or other depravity,
may be incompetent
Appointing commissioners for the improvement
of the navigation of, to facilitate
the transportation of tobacco from
the warehouse on. See Prince George's

Charter extended, to enable it gradually
to wind up
