Chap.
Sec.
OYSTERS.
as to be distinctly defined, the said location,
described in writing, under oath,
and have the same recorded in the office
of the clerk of the county; And
provided also,
such location shall not
obstruct navigation &c,
    Proprietors of the adjacent shores
shall have right of preemption for one
acre of superficias extending along
shore from low water mark &c. subject
to the foregoing limitations; And provided
the location be selected and completed
before the 1st January next,
    No person other than the citizens of
the county &c. shall be entitled so to
stake out, locate &c,
    Any proprietor into whose land a
creek, cove or inlet may make, which
at its mouth does not exceed one hundred
yards in width, shall have the exclusive
use of such creek, cove or inlet,
for the depot of, &c,
    No exclusive use or selections of any
oyster bar or bars, shall be authorised
or allowed by this act,
    Catching or taking &c. from any such
depot, declared a misdemeanor; Provided,
the proprietor thereof, shall annually
deposit a sufficient quantity thereon,
    His neglecting so to deposit, deemed
a non-user and any other person authorised
to adopt said depot,
    None of the foregoing sections of
this act shall be deemed to extend in
any manner whatever, to the waters of
the Western Shore,
    Penalty of $50 for catching &c. any
oyster &c. that may have been planted
or deposited on the bed of any of the
bays, rivers, creeks &c. of the Western
Shore, without the consent of the person
who planted &c,
    Proprietors may join depots of, not
exceeding two acres each, providing
the hauling of seins shall not be thereby
obstructed &c,
    Proprietor into whose land any creek
inlet &c. may make, not exceeding 100
yards wide at its mouth, entitled to the
exclusive right to use the same, provided
the navigation is not obstructed,
