                                            No. 28.

A Resolution in favor of the Trustees of the New-Market
                        Academy, in Dorchester County.


Passed Feb. 17, 1830.
    Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to the Trustees of the
New-Market Academy, in Dorchester county, or to their order,
on or before the first day of May next, and annually thereafter,
the sum of two hundred dollars.

                                            No. 29.

A Resolution in favor of Mary Simpson, widow of the late
      Rezin Simpson, who was a pensioner of the State.


Passed Feb. 13, 1830.
    Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to Robert Swan, or order,
for the use and benefit of Mary Simpson, widow of the
late Rezin Simpson, a pensioner of the state of Maryland, the
sum of twenty-seven dollars and fifty cents, being a balance
due to said Rezin Simpson, at the time of his decease.

                                            No. 30.

Resolutions relating to the rebinding, repairing, or transcribing,
    certain land record books of Prince George's County.


Passed Feb. 15, 1830.
    Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That Edward
W. Belt, of Prince George's county, be, and he is hereby
authorised and directed, to rebind, repair, or transcribe, or
cause the same to be done, such, and so many of the land record
books, of Prince George's county, as the judges of the
county court, or any one of them, shall direct to be rebound, repaired,
or transcribed:   Provided, that the amount of expenses
for rebinding, repairing, or transcribing, does not exceed the
sum of one thousand dollars; and that he receive, as a compensation
therefor, not more than eight cents for every hundred
words transcribed as aforesaid; which amount shall be
levied upon the assessable property of the county aforesaid,
and collected and paid to the said Edward W. Belt, as other
county charges are levied, collected, and paid; And provided,
that no such levy shall be made, unless one of the judges of
the county court aforesaid, shall certify to the correctness of
the amount of expenses incurred for rebinding and repairing,
or the quantity of transcribing done, to be examined and approved
