RESOLUTIONS.

on Dugan's and O'Donnell's wharves, in the city of
Baltimore, to advertise for proposals or contracts for the building
of offices for Tobacco Dealers, on the vacant grounds
owned by the State on said wharves, be, and the same are hereby
rescinded.

No. 25.
A Resolution requiring the return into the armory at Annapolis,
of certain arms, now in possession of John S. Purnell,
and Isaac Covington, of Worcester county.
|

Resolved by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the
armourer of the state, at Annapolis be directed to require
to be returned into the armory, the arms now in possession of
John S. Purnell, former captain of the Snow Hill rifle company,
and those in possession of Isaac Covington, captain of the
Berlin rifle company; and that said armourer make report of
his proceedings, under this order, and the condition of said
arms, to the executive of the state, by the first day of June
next.

A Resolution in favor of Edward Smith, of Dorchester
County.
|

Resolved by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the
Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to Edward Smith, of
Dorchester county, or to his order, the sum of one hundred
dollars, as a compensation for the apprehension of negro James
Barnett, who was lately tried and convicted, in Calvert County
Court, for killing a certain Nathan Kerns, of said county.

A Resolution directing one set of the acts of Congress to be
furnished by the State Librarian to the Adjutant General.
|
|
Resolved by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That one
set of the acts of Congress be furnished by the State Librarian
to the Adjutant General of this State; and upon his death
or resignation, the same to be delivered over to whoever may
be his successor.
