A report and resolution, authorising the sale of certain articles
of old Furniture in the Government House, accompanied
by a list thereof.

The Select Committee, appointed by an
order of the House
of Delegates, to examine the state and condition of the furniture
in the government house, beg leave to report, that they
have examined the same, and, in their opinion, there are a number
of articles of old furniture, (a list of which is herewith
presented,) which should be sold; they, therefore, beg leave to
submit the following resolution:

Resolved by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That
Gideon Pearce be, and he is hereby appointed to sell the
same, at public sale, for cash, and the money arising therefrom,
to pay into the Treasury of the Western Shore, after
deducting ten per cent. for his compensation.
