for the purpose of this act, to have been entrusted therewith
for the purpose of consignment or sale, unless the contrary
thereof shall be made to appear by Bill of Discovery, or otherwise,
or be made to appear, or shown in evidence by any person
disputing such fact, " be, and the same is hereby repealed.
  CHAP. 198.  
    Sec. 2.  And be it enacted, That the ninth section of the bill
to which this is a supplement, be, and the same is hereby repealed.

    Sec. 3.  And be it enacted, That the several provisions of the
act, to which this is a supplement, and which are not hereby
repealed, be, and they are hereby revived and confirmed to
all intents, purpose, and effect, any law, or decision of any
court in this state, to the contrary notwithstanding.

                                        CHAPTER 199.

An additional supplement to the act, entitled, an act to provide
    for the making the several Turnpike Roads, and for the extension
    of the Charters of the several Banks therein mentioned,
    passed at December session eighteen hundred and twenty seven,
    chapter forty-two.



Passed Feb. 19, 1830.
    WHEREAS, It is represented to this General Assembly, that
the purposes for which the supplement to the act aforesaid, of
the last session of the General Assembly, chapter one hundred
and nineteen, was passed, cannot be obtained, by reason of an
error in the corporate name of the company referred to; For
remedy whereof,
Preamble.
    Section 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That instead of " The President, Managers and Company,
of the Rockville and Washington Turnpike Road,
wherever the same occurs in said supplement, " The President, 
Managers, and Company, of the Washington Turnpike
Road Company," shall be substituted and to all intents and
purposes whatsoever, have the same effect, and be so construed,
as if the said error had not been committed; any thing
in said supplement to the contrary notwithstanding.
Error rectified.
    Sec. 2.  And be it enacted, That all acts which have been
done in virtue of any said supplement, by the said banks and individual
stockholders, and the President and four Managers elected
by them, shall be good and valid, and are hereby ratified
and confirmed.
Acts confirmed.
    Sec. 3.  And be it enacted, That the seventh section of the said
supplement, be, and the same is hereby repealed.
7th sec. repealed.
    Sec. 4.  And be it enacted, That the said banks and individual
subscribers, who have already subscribed for stock to
make said road and bridge, may subscribe for such an additional
amount of said stock, as may be necessary to complete
the said road as far as the Monocacy, and the bridge over said
    Respecting subscriptions.
