1829.                                                                                LAWS OF MARYLAND.

  CHAP. 114.  


Conditional.
advisable, Provided, That no such alteration shall be made unless
the proprietors of the greater number of feet of ground
binding or fronting on that part of the street, lane or alley, the
grade of which is intended to be changed or altered shall have
first made an application in writing to the Mayor and City
Council, for such change or alteration of the street, lane or alley
specified in the application.
    Ratification required.
    Sec. 2.  And be it enacted, That this act shall not go into
effect until approved of by the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore.

                                        CHAPTER 115.

An act to change the place of holding the Elections in Dames
                         Quarter District, in Somerset county.

Place Fixed.
    Section 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the judges of the election for the Dames' Quarter
District, in Somerset county be, and they are hereby authorised
and directed to hold in future all elections in the said district,
at Samuel Ford's Store, on the public road in said district.
Repeal.
    Sec. 2.  And be it enacted, That the provisions of any, and
every act, inconsistent with, or repugnant to this act, be, and
they are hereby repealed.

                                        CHAPTER 116.

              An act to make public a Road therein mentioned.
Declared public.
    Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the new road in Anne Arundel county, leading from the Bridge
lately built over Marley Creek, at the place called Ashbaw's
Landing, until it intersects the road leading to Baltimore, by
way of Kreb's Bridge, be, and the same is hereby declared to
be public forever hereafter, and shall be kept in repair as
other county roads in said county.
