  CHAP. 56.  
county, passed at December session eighteen hundred
and twenty-eight, chapter [the] eight, be, and the same is
hereby repealed.

Passed Feb. 5, 1830.
                                        CHAPTER 57.

An act to confirm the proceedings of certain Commissioners in
                                     Worcester county.

Preamble.
    WHEREAS, by an act of Assembly, passed at December
session eighteen hundred and twenty-eight, chapter seventeen,
among other things it was enacted, that the commissioners to
be appointed to carry into effect the terms and provisions of
said act, shall make a final end of their duty on or before
the first of July then next; and whereas, the laws of the said
session did not come to the hands of the levy court of said
county until June, so that it was impossible that the duties of
the said commissioners could be performed by the day aforesaid;
and whereas, the said commissioners have made their return
as prescribed by said law, in all things save the date,
therefore,
Confirmation.
    Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
proceedings of the commissioners appointed in virtue of an
act passed at December session eighteen hundred and twenty-eight,
chapter seventeen, be as good and valid, to all intents
and purposes, as if the said commissioners had made their return
as prescribed by said act.

Passed Feb. 6, 1830.
                                        CHAPTER 58.

An act to divorce Catharina Myers and her husband Daniel
                             Myers, of Frederick county.

Divorce.
    Section 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said Catharina Myers be, and she is hereby
divorced from bed, board and mutual cohabitation, with her
husband Daniel Myers.
Claims annulled.
    Sec. 2.  And be it enacted, That the said Daniel Myers shall
not, by virtue to his marriage with the said Catharina Myers,
be authorised to have or claim any right or interest in the estate,
real, personal or mixed, of the said Catharina Myers, to
be by her acquired after the passage of this act; nor shall
Catharina Myers be authorised to have or claim any right or
interest in the state, real, personal or mixed, of said Daniel
Myers, to be by him acquired after the passage of this act.
