written or printed, set up at least at three public places
in each election district of said county.
  CHAP. 20  
    Sec. 2.  And be it enacted, That if the said securities, or either of
them, shall, immediately after the first day of July next, pay
to the said Levy Court, as well the amount of the several
claims due to the respective holders of assessable property in
said county, which shall be claimed, as also all costs, charges,
and expences, which the said Levy Court may have paid or
engaged to pay, or which has or shall be incurred in the prosecution
of the suits brought by the said Levy Court against
the said securities or either of them, then the suit or suits, so
brought, shall be entered as fully paid and satisfied, and all
and every claim or claims, against the said securities, on account
of the sum of money mentioned in the first clause of the
preamble to this act shall be forever [hereafter] barred.
    On payment, &c.;
suits barred.
    Sec. 3.  And be it enacted, That in case the said securities,
or either of them, shall not pay to the said Levy Court, as
mentioned in the foregoing section, immediately after said first
day of July next, then the said Levy Court shall proceed to
collect by execution, so much of the said sum as shall be sufficient
to pay, as well all demands made by holders of assessable
property who are entitled to any part thereof, as also all
costs, charges, and expences, which the said Levy Court shall
have paid or agreed to pay, or for which they are liable in the
prosecution of the suit or suits brought for the same; and as
such as the same shall be recovered, the said Levy Court shall
proceed to pay to each person entitled, their several proportion
of the same.

                                        CHAPTER 21.

An act to provide for electing Commissioners for Washington
        County, and prescribing their powers and duties.



Passed Jan. 28, 1830.
    Section 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the persons qualified to vote for Delegates to the
General Assembly, in Washington county, shall at the time
and of election in said county, on the first Monday in
October next,  and on the first Monday of October in every
two years thereafter, vote by ballot for one person, [or] resident
of the district in which the voter is entitled to vote for Delegates
as aforesaid, and also having the same qualifications as
are, or shall be required for such Delegates, to be a Commissioner
for Washington county; and the Judges of Election for
each district in said county, or a majority of them, shall certify
under their hands, and return in a form and manner similar
to their certificates and return of the election of Delegates
