Resolutions for the suspension of further proceedings against
Benjamin G. Jones, formerly Sheriff of Harford county,
and his Securities, on certain Judgments, and upon the
conditions therein mentioned.
Resolved, That all proceedings against Benjamin G. Jones,
formerly sheriff of Harford county, and his securities, on
two judgments against them at suits of the state of Mary-
land, be suspended until the twentieth day of January eigh-
teen hundred and thirty; Provided, the said Benjamin G.
Jones shall pay the sum of three hundred dollars, in part
satisfaction of said judgments, on or before the second day
of March next, and the whole balance of the said judgments
on or before the twentieth day of January eighteen hundred
and thirty.
And it is further resolved, That the said Benjamin G.
Jones be charged but six per centum interest on said judg-
ments; Provided he shall make punctual payment according
to the terms of the above resolution.

No. 29.

|
A Resolution in favour of John Goddard, of Prince-George's
county, who was a Soldier of the Revolutionary War.
Resolved, That the treasurer of the western shore pay
to John Goddard, of Prince-George's county, or to his or-
der, during life, in half yearly payments, a sum of money
equal to the half pay of a private, as a further remuneration
for his services during the revolutionary war.

No. 30.

|
A Resolution in favour of John Curtis, of the City of Bal-
timore, who was a Soldier of the Revolutionary War.
Resolved, That the treasurer of the western shore, pay
to John Curtis, of the city of Baltimore, or to his order,
during life, in half yearly payments, a sum of money equal
to the half pay of a matross in the artillery, in considera-
tion of his services during the revolutionary war.
