1828 RESOLUTIONS.

order, whatever sum appears to have been due to her said
husband David Wilson, at the time of his decease, for or on
account of his services during the revolutionary war.

No. 25.

Passed Feb. 20, 1829

'A Resolution providing for the payment to Juliana Ott, of
Washington county, Widow of Adam Ott, late a Revolu-
tionary Pensioner of this State, the arrears of his Pension.
Resolved, That the treasurer of the western shore pay to
Juliana Ott, widow of Adam Ott, a revolutionary soldier, or
to her order, such sum as may appear to be due to him on the
pension list of the state of Mary land,at the time of his decease.

Passed Feb 20, 1829

A Resolution referring to the Chancellor of Maryland, the
claim on the State, of John M. Hepburn, administrator de
bonis non of John Hepburn, deceased.
Resolved, That the chancellor of Maryland be, and he
hereby is authorised and directed, to examine into the merits
of the claim of John Hepburn, as creditor of William and
Robert Mollison against the state of Maryland, and to decide
thereon according to the equity and right of the matter,
which decision shall be conclusive in the premises, and if
the chancellor shall find any sum to be due, the same shall be
satisfied out of the funds arising from the confiscation and
sale of the property of the ssid William and Robert Molli-
son, which may remain in the treasury unappropriated; and
on the part of the state it shall be the duty of the attorney-
general, or one of his deputies, to attend the investigation.

Passe Feb 21, 1829

A Resolution concerning Henry Harding, late Collector of
Montgomery county.

Resolved, That the treasurer for the western shore in set-
tling the accounts of Henry Harding, late collector for Mont-
gomery county, charge him with interest on the said coun-
ty's share of the direct tax both for eighteen hundred and
twenty-five and eighteen hundred and twenty-six, from
twenty-first March eighteen hundred and twenty-seven, the
day on which, by the condition of his bond to the state it
was made payable into the treasury.
