SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That no person shall
erect a blind within three hundred yards of another licensed
blind, the distance to be measured by shore line if blind is
on the shore, or by air line if erected in the water.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That it shall be unlaw-
ful for any person to shoot from any licensed blind without
the consent of the licensee, and any one violating the pro-
visions of this Act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction shall be fined not less than five ($5.00) dollars,
and in default of payment of said fine be imprisoned in the
county jail not less than five days.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That all licenses and
fines accruing under this Act shall be paid to the County
Commissioners of the county wherein license was issued or
fine imposed, said receipts to be applied to the road fund of
said county.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1920.

CHAPTER 489.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments. Section
21B of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
title, "Public Education," sub-title, "State Superinten-
dent of Schools," relating to the taking of the school
census.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 21B of Article 77 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title, "Public Education," sub-title, "State
Superintendent of Schools," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

21B. The State Superintendent of Schools, subject to the
rules and regulations of the State Board of Education, shall
direct the taking of a biennial school census of all the children
in the State between the ages of 6 and 18 inclusive, to be
taken first in the year 1922, and every two years thereafter,
and he may cause the whole or any part of the school census
of the City of Baltimore, or of any county to be retaken at
any time, if, in his judgment, the whole or any part of such
census has not been properly or correctly taken.
