oils who are not already registered on the third Monday of
May in each year when a municipal election is held and on
said day shall receive applications in writing under oath to
strike from said registration lists the names of persons who
may be no longer entitled to vote in Annapolis. Such applica-
tions shall comply with the provisions of Article 33 of the
"Annotated Code of Maryland, entitled "Elections." On the
first Monday of June following, said registers shall sit for the
sole purpose of revising said registration lists, and their pro-
ceedings shall be in all respects in accordance with the pro-
visions of said Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
and any person feeling aggrieved at a decision of said registers
shall have the right to appeal to the Circuit Court of Anne
Arundel County, and said appeal shall be heard and
determined as provided by said Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland. At the first registration held under the
provisions of this section, the registers shall sit as a board of
registration for the purpose of preparing a new list of the
registered voters of Annapolis, and no person shall be entitled
to vote in any municipal election in the City of Annapolis un-
less his name be placed on such list at such registration or is
added subsequently in conformity with this section.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1920.

CHAPTER 472
AN ACT to authorize the State Roads Commission to con-
struct and maintain as a part of the State roads system a
highway over the present public road in the First Elec-
tion District of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, ex-
tending from the present State road at a point about one-
half mile below South river bridge towards Queen Anne,
now called Hardesty, through the village of Davidson-
ville, for the distance of four miles.
