shall fall due,'' be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect. June 1, 1920.

CHAPTER 471.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 525 of the Acts of 1908, entitled
"An Act to fix the qualifications- of voters at municipal
elections in the City of Annapolis and to provide for the
registration of said voters," and to repeal Sections 2, 3,
4 and 5 of the charter of Annapolis, and enact in lieu
thereof four new sections to be known as Sections 2, 3, 4
and 5 of the charter of Annapolis, relating to municipal
elections.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 525 of the Acts of 1908, entitled "An
Act to fix the qualifications of voters at municipal elections in
the City of Annapolis and to provide for the registration of
voters," and to repeal Sections 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the charter of
Annapolis, and enact in lieu thereof four new sections, to be
known as Sections 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the charter of Annapolis,
and to read as follows:

2. All the provisions of Article 33i of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, entitled "Elections," shall be applicable to all
municipal elections held in the City of Annapolis, Maryland,
except as provided in Sections 2, 3, 4 and 5 of this charter.

3. Judges and Clerks for such elections shall be appointed
by the Mayor, Counselor and Aldermen of the City of Annap-
olis, and shall sit as a board of supervisors as provided in
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, and to do all
things in the same manner and to the same extent, and shall
use at such elections ballot boxes, registration lists and all
other books, papers and appliances conforming to those used
at State and county elections in the several wards of
Annapolis.

4. The Mayor, Counselor and Aldermen of the City of
Annapolis shall pay all the expenses of said election.

5. The Mayor, Counselor and Aldermen of the City of
Annapolis shall provide for the registration of all persons en-
titled to vote at the municipal election in the City of Annap-
