Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Board of Police Commissioners of Baltimore City be, and
are, hereby authorized to reinstate Wesley F. Scrivner as a
patrolman of the police force of the City of Baltimore.

And be it further enacted, That before any reinstatement
by the Board of Police Commissioners of Baltimore City,
under the provisions of this Act, the said Wesley F. Scrivner
will be required to take a physical examination to insure his
physical ability to perform the duties of patrolman.

CHAPTER 451.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
154 of the Code of Public Local Laws for Anne Arundel
County, "County Commissioners," providing for an in-
crease in the salary for the Clerk of said Board.

SECTION 1. Be it further enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section 154 of the Code of Public Local
Laws for Anne Arundel County, title "County Commission-
ers," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments so as to read as follows:

154. They shall appoint a clerk, who shall hold his office
for two years from the date of his appointment and until the
qualification of his successor. He shall be removable at the
pleasure of the County Commissioners and shall receive an
annual salary of not more than eighteen hundred dollars
($1800.00). Said salary shall include all fees or compensation
of any and every kind whatsoever, and the County Commis-
sioners are prohibited from voting to him any extra or addi-
tional compensation on account of the performance of any
duties directly or indirectly 'pertaining to his office, includ-
ing in such duties the making of- contingent funds, correcting
and copying the assessment lists or books, acting as clerk to
the Board of Road Commissioners, transferring and auditing
accounts for the treasurers, and any other duties that are now
or may hereafter be lawfully imposed upon him or required
of him as such clerk.
