to go outside of Frederick City to attend to shall be paid
him in addition to the salary aforesaid.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That it shall be the
duty of the Sheriff to promptly collect and forthwith pay
over to the County Commissioners for Frederick County,
all appearance or other fees taxed as part of the costs of
any criminal case, after this act takes effect, and the Clerk
of the Circuit Court for Frederick County, after this act
becomes effective, in taxing costs in criminal cases to be paid
by the prisoner or traverser, shall include the usual fee,
which shall be paid by the Sheriff aforesaid for the use of
the county.

SEC. 3. And it shall be further enacted, That all acts or
parts of acts inconsistent herewith be and the same are
hereby repealed.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners for Frederick County shall annualty levy against
the assessable property in Frederick County such sum or
sums of money as may be necessary to carry out and effectu-
ate the purposes of this act.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this act shall
take effect June first, 1920.

CHAPTER 441.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 97 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title "Weights and Measures," to be
known as Section 10A, and to follow immediately after
Section 10 of said Article, making it unlawful to sell,
destroy or dispose of any scale, weight or measure con-
demned by an inspector of weights and measures, or re-
move the tag placed on such scale, weight or measure with-
out the approval of the inspector.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That, a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
97 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Weights and
Measures," to be known as Section 10A, to follow immediately
after Section 10 of said Article, and to read as follows:

10A. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corpora-
tion, or for any agent, employee or officer of any person, firm
