or corporation to sell, destroy or dispose in any way of any
scale, weight or measure which has been condemned by an
inspector of weights and measures in the City of Baltimore
without the knowledge and consent of said inspector, or to re-
move any tag placed on a scale, weight or measure by such
inspector showing that it has been condemned until such scale,
weight or measure has been re-inspected and approved, and
the said tag shall be placed in a conspicuous place and shall
only be removed by one of the inspectors of weights and
measures. Any one violating the provisions of this section
shall, upon conviction, be fined not leas than twenty-five nor
more than one hundred dollars for each and every offense.

SEC. 2. And be it further en-acted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1920.

CHAPTER 442.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
26 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title.
"Public Education," sub-title, "County Board of Edu-
cation," providing that County Board of Education re-
port its unexpended balance each year to the County
Commissioners.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
title "Public Education," sub-title "County Board of Educa-
tion," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments to read a,s follows:

26. The County Board of Education, each year, beginning
with the year 1916, shall prepare, subject to the rules and
regulations of the State Board of Education and on and with
the advice of the County Superintendent, an itemized and
detailed school budget, showing the unexpended balance on
hand or in the treasury of the County Board of Education
for each specific purpose allowed and levied by the County,
Commissioners at the preceding levy the amount of money
needed for permanent improvements and repairs, and for
current repairs, furniture for old buildings, maintenance
and support of schools during the succeeding school year, also
the estimated total amount that will be received from the
